Course Description: Course will focus on various technological tools and techniques with emphasis on their potential applications in classroom teaching. Topics will include geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), remote sensing of the environment (RS), and Internet resources that support the foregoing technological applications.

Goals/Objectives accomplished:
During this course I was introduced to multiple current, technology-based educational tools and products that focused on the area of geography. These products included GIS, RS, and GPS; however we also looked at sites available on the Internet that are useful in the field of geography. It was from these sites that I developed many of the lessons that I would later integrate into my curriculum. One such lesson and its components can be found below.
