Multimedia Production
LT 731
Course Description: Students learn principles of visual design, use of sound and color, and hands-on production of text and animated resources for use in educational and training materials for the development of interactive multimedia and hypermedia lessons and presentations.
Instructor: Dr. Mark Hawkes
Semester Completed: Summer 2003
Goals/Objectives accomplished:
The Multimedia Production (LT 731) course covered guidelines to follow when designing classroom materials to be presented using multimedia. It also introduced me to a variety of multimedia software that I can integrate into my instruction. After an introduction to each, we were given time to develop our ability to use and apply such computer software as Inspiration, Flash, Fireworks, and Pinnacle and create products with each that we could use in our classrooms. Some of the products I produced can be found below.
Project(s): (If you look at the projects below, you will need to use the back button on the toolbar to return to this page)
- Visual Aid (My algebra students used this to help when factoring)
- Video: Inside and Outside of a Computer (This will be used as part of an introduction to computer hardware class I will be teaching in the spring)
- Visual Table for Geometric Formulas (This is simply a review of the different formulas used when finding perimeter, area, and volume)
