Introduction to Instructional Programming
CET 756
Course Description: Computer programming to promote human computer interaction, especially as it applies to students and education. Emphasis on applying fundamental programming concepts and proper programming techniques to instruction.
Instructor: Dr. Haomin Wang
Semester Completed: Fall 2002
Goals/Objectives accomplished:
While I have some current knowledge of Visual BASIC, in this class I was able to increase my programming skills. Although we only touched the surface in the short time we had, I feel that I became more aware and proficient in the applications of object-oriented programming (OOP) for the Internet environment, using JavaScript and VBScript programming languages. I was also able to integrate the programming language into my instruction as can be seen in the projects below.
Project(s): (If you look at the projects below, you will need to use the back button on the toolbar to return to this page)
- Algebra Quiz (used when reviewing how to solve equations)
- State Capital Quiz (would be handy if I ever teach Geography again or if another teacher at school would like to use it)
